Zhang Fangyuan is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Computer Science and Technology of Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen), and a national-level high-level young talent. He graduated from the ACM Pilot Program (Zhiyuan Honor Program) of Shanghai Jiao Tong University for his undergraduate studies, and obtained his doctoral degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Previously, he worked as a researcher at Huawei Hong Kong Research Institute and conducted research internships at Microsoft Asia Research Institute, Tencent, and Alibaba Cloud. He has been dedicated to research in the field of efficient big data management and analysis, covering algorithm design and analysis for big data computing, big data mining, and the integration technology of AI and data management (Data + AI). In recent years, he has published over 20 papers in top conferences and journals such as SIGMOD, VLDB, KDD, ICSE, and TKDE. Many of his research results have been deployed in the core products of well-known Internet companies. Professor Zhang Fangyuan serves as a reviewer for several CCF-recommended A/B category conferences and journals, including SIGKDD, ICDE, WSDM, and TKDE, and has been awarded the SIGKDD Outstanding Reviewer title. Additionally, he is a member of the Hong Kong Young Scientists Association and has served as an industry mentor at the University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen).
